This is a must read for anyone man in any type of abusive whether it be mental or physical relationship. It definitely shows you the in and outs of the manipulator and how the manipulator keep you trapped by feeling things will change or get better tomorrow. I like the beginning of the story how it was introduced and was shocked by the ending. There were a couple names in the wrong places However the story still flowed. There was one part where a character was introduced with not enough background for me however it did not interfere with the telling of the story at all. I look forward to reading some more of this authors workProduct details

Tale of My Death The True Story of Janese Williams edition by Carlos King Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I enjoyed this book, quick read indeed but the content was great. YES, editing would be recommended but I was more interested in the authors story which came across well. This book no doubt will be relatable to those who may be or have been in similar circumstances. There is a way out and do not be ashamed. This book is for more someones, somewhere than we may ever know. Again, I enjoyed it.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer the editing needs work. The storyline about abuse, stalking and trying to get away from someone you thought loved you was okay, however it was a bit slow for me.
One of the best written books I have read in a long time. This was my life story sum up in one book with my husband tell he passed away in 2013. Now I am free to live a life of freedom without the abuse. We were married for 39 years. I cried and smiled while reading this book. Thank you Janese Williams for your book and being brave enough to write it for all us women who have been abused or still going through it.
This was a good book about how and why a person stays in an abusive relationship. Some people will never understand it because they have never lived it. Hats off to Janese for taking her life back and refusing to give in.
Mr. King has done it again. He has put together a masterpiece on physical abuse to a woman. The stories he comes up with always seem to touch my spirit. It's the story of boy meets girl and think they have fell in love. In the end the girl Janese was sadly mistaken, when she is mentally and physically abused to the point of death.
This story told of how many young naive girls get involved in abusive relationships. They see the signs but they think that the abuse won't escalate. This a cautionary tale about what to look for in a potentially abusive relationship and just how far an abuser will go to assume control over their lives. And how the abused can take back control of their lives.
Even though as a whole it’s a good read, but I felt like I was being lied to cos the title is misleading. It also felt like an unfinished story.
